What’s New

Thank you for your interest in helping us continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing orphaned and injured native South Carolina mammalian wildlife. Together we can make a difference!

Complete the volunteer application under the Volunteer tab, indicate which training you would like to attend, and we will email you when a class becomes available. If you are unable to rehabilitate out of your home or would like to get some prior experience before your training, you can assist at the Center which may include feeding, cleaning, and general upkeep of the facility. You can indicate your interest on the application, and you will be contacted regarding Center training. IMPORTANT. We respond to your applications within three (3) days so if you have not received an email, please check your spam. We don’t want to lose you!

We would like to invite you to follow us on our main Facebook page (Keeper of the Wild) for notable events, training, and stories and our newest Facebook page, Keeper of the Wild, Behind the Scenes. This page is dedicated to showing what goes into rehabilitating wildlife. There will be babies, injuries, success stories, and losses. Join us on our wildlife rehabilitation journey.

We look forward to hearing from you.
